Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 titles have been earned on hard courts
A resurgent the Russian player secured his initial title for nearly 30 months with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition title decider.
The Russian, a former world number one, has endured a torrid season, achieving just one win at the big events and undergoing a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's unpredictability on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his service game in particular - resulted in him exiting of the world's top 10 and eventually separating with long-term mentor his previous coach.
Currently collaborating with his coach and his other coach, he has steadily progressed in the recent weeks - peaking in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's initial trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard surface since March of 2023.
Success also means he has won twenty-one championships at twenty-one different tournaments.
"It's the first time I am participating in a tournament with my both daughters together, so to secure a title is really nice," said world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my younger daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I won when my older daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his last six finals, including in Halle earlier this year.
Medvedev's retrieving play style and frequent outbursts on the tennis court had led some to question if his ability to perform at the elite level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the last few weeks, striving to advance forward and play aggressively, reinforced by an better service.
Medvedev fought back from a deficit in the first set against the difficult Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five points to take the lead.
The pair swapped service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden tour victory, gained dominance to push for a decider.
The opponent rescued four early break points in a tight deciding set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to serve for the match.
Appropriately, he clinched the title with a point at the front of the court, with the Frenchman incapable to handle a volley after a lengthy match.
